In an effort to spice up our Sunday night, last night was spent at the hospital again. After having many constant/painful contractions (more than the usual) we decided it was time to make sure everything was going ok. Maggie hadn't been very active all day, and with the added contractions - we were told to come in to Swedish to get it checked out. They confirmed that yes, I was having large contractions every 3 minutes, but still no progress was being made from them. (So depressing!) They kept us there on the monitors for awhile - making sure that baby Maggie started to move more before they released us. After giving me a shot in my leg (which still hurts!) they sent us home for me to sleep. They were under the impression that we would be back soon to deliver, but we know better! This game has been going on for over 3 weeks...nurses saying "any minute now" no longer phases us! :)
So - we are still waiting...still having contractions and hoping that Maggie decides to take the plunge and come out soon.
