It begins...

For the first few months of Charlie's life, Maggie didn't really understand why he was around. He cried, slept and fed...all of which took my attention away from her. What is so fun about that? But, as Charlie started to smile and laugh, Maggie started to think that maybe he wasn't so bad after all. She still prefers to call him "Baby" instead of Charlie (though I must point out she can say Charlie perfectly) but there are now un-prompted kisses and toy offerings that melt my heart. She even has started to agree to taking a picture or two with her brother!




To be fair and honest, not every day is full of hugs and smiles. Maggie still gets frustrated and upset with the newest addition to our family. This picture sums it up...
