Our little "Early Learner"

Since Maggie is an early October birthday, she misses the preschool cut off for the year. After a wonderful experience with her at Patti's on Fridays last year, we knew she would need more than one morning a week this year. We could have just added another day at Patti's, but I felt like she was ready for a bit more than playschool. After tons of research, visits, and hours and hours spent talking with other moms in the area, I decided to make Maggie an "Early Learner" at Kid Magic. It was the best decision ever! They have a program for kiddos just like her that miss the cut off for preschool but are ready for it. She, and three other kids that have Sept/Oct/Nov birthdays, are in their own program with their own teacher at the preschool - but they get to do so much with the other preschoolers and seem to have the best of both worlds. A small group to play with (although the entire school has 14 kids and 3 teachers - amazing ratios anyway) but also 'big kids' to play with and look up to. Add in the fact that Kid Magic is on a working farm in the heart of downtown Bellevue (goats, pigs, chickens, bunnies, etc.)and it's a no brainer - it's a wonderful place for a little girl to go to school.
Maggie on her first day of preschool - so EXCITED!!
