Maggie's First Husky Game

Some people thought we were nuts on Saturday morning when we said we were still planning on going to the game with Maggie. The morning was pretty nasty - tons of rain and very dark clouds, but we were determined to use the tickets Steve gave us! Maggie was outfitted in her Husky gear (and actually left her hat on for most of the day) and was ready to go!

After a serious talk with her Husky dog, she felt the dawgs were on track for a win as well.
We were able to meet up with a few friends before the game, then had a great time watching such an outstanding game for UW with Laura and Tomas. Maggie really enjoyed the first half, then started to get tired around 1/2 time. Thank goodness for the soundproof earphones Julia let us borrow - Maggie was able to sleep through the entire second half the the game! People were screaming all around her (her Dad being the loudest) but she slept comfortably in the Moby Wrap on my chest. We felt so lucky to be able to stay and watch the end of an amazing game! Maggie woke up on the walk home and enjoyed hanging with family at Laura and Tadas' place.
