When I was teaching, I tried to make things as creative as I could to keep student interest. In the same vain, I want my kids to be able to explore/create/play as much as possible as I try to sneak learning into what they are doing. Maggie eats it up - for her, the messier the better and she is all over anything that has art in it. Charlie isn't quite as enthusiastic to get messy and "creative" - unless it involves dirt or bugs outside - but I'll keep working on him. ;)
