Our last camping trip of the summer was a big group event. Mark found a group site for Labor Day weekend and so we got to camp with a lot of friends and family. The site was cool...and cold! Who knew that although Leavenworth was right down the hill (10 min away) and 87 degrees, our camp site would be shaded and SUPER cold!?! It was still a lot of fun, though. Three days out in the woods getting dirty, wet, muddy, and having good times. Maggie was even was a bit sick on one of the days and was a trooper. Charlie loved being in the creek and woods...was a handful to constantly keep an eye on (being 2 and let loose in the woods can cause some issues) but we loved the experience. Can't wait for more camping next summer - Maggie has already been begging to go again (although we suspect that might have something to do with the marshmallows).
